However, the empty space can also be overwhelming. We have prepared below some useful tips for you to have at hand when you start arranging a new space. We thought of the living room, a central and important area of the apartment, but the principles apply to any room.

Just follow the clues you were given. The audio-video area will be dictated by the location of the dedicated outputs, so naturally you will arrange the seating area on the opposite wall. Depending on your needs, you can also organize a small dining area or an office by the window .
If you need extra storage space in the living room, think of a custom made TV furniture, which also integrates some hidden compartments. It will integrate perfectly in the design of the space, without your guests knowing that it has this extra role. Also, any niche is welcome to host a camouflaged closet.
Before putting the furniture in the room, take the technical sketch of the room, make a copy and draw on it various variants of arranging the furniture bodies. You will save a lot of time!
Budget
Don't forget to allocate a budget for the arrangement. Whether you design one for each room or one dedicated to the entire apartment, it is extremely important to have a landmark.
It is very possible that some items may be more expensive than you would expect, but if they are key parts, do not hesitate to buy them. You can juggle expenses by buying other things cheaper and thus staying within the proposed budget. Keep a record and don't be afraid to pay extra for a designer piece, be it a lighting fixture or an armchair - statement.

The aesthetics of the room is as important as its functionality. Comfort has many sources, and the mood that a place imprints on you is not to be neglected. If you turn to the help of an interior designer, he will know what to propose to you according to your needs, your style and, last but not least, your budget.
If you want to take care of the arrangement yourself, try to define first the style that represents you: classic? Mediterranean? Scandinavian? The options are many. It's easy to identify things we like, from furniture to decorations, but the key question is: do they like each other?
The mix of decorative styles is welcome - there's nothing wrong with that - but it's important to do some testing beforehand. The easiest and safest way is to "browse" some images with arrangements, and then see them as a whole, to find out if the pieces fit together. You can even make a collage, if the images that served as inspiration are from magazines: take scissors, glue and play a little.

Equally important for the arrangement is the range of colors you use. It is ideal to outline it from the beginning, before making purchases.
We return to the mood board from the previous point, in which you combined - physical or virtual - decoration elements, textures, finishes, colors. Put the pieces next to each other, in what shape you have at hand. Close or open the color palette. Which one best fits the space?
And because things look different on paper and in reality, try to put some samples of those colors in the room before the big move. If you are thinking of a decorative wall and you do not know if a gold or an azure one fits better, take 2 samples of paint and whitewash two small pieces of the wall.
