Living room + desk + conference space + fitness room
I asked friends from Aqua City what kind of changes they made "at home" and how they adapted.
For some, it was about a redevelopment / reconfiguration of the living space and a better organization with "apartment colleagues":
" It simply came to our notice then. Since we both worked in IT, we needed a big office and that's it. We turned the living room into a bedroom (we moved the bed) and the bedroom into an office, so that at the end of the day we could close the door and disconnect mentally. The good thing is that we don't waste an hour or so in the morning traffic. "SM, 32 years old
" We both work in the university environment and that has meant that everything has moved online: courses, conferences, meetings. From morning to evening we are in front of the screens. And that's only half the problem, because we live in a studio of less than 40 square meters. Imagine you are working on a course and the one in front of you is taking a class, so talk continuously for an hour. Luckily we don't have classes at the same time. "OO, 36 years old
For families with young children, the challenges were greater, as was the need for extra space. Many have turned to residential communities or chosen to upgrade from a 2-room apartment to a 3-room apartment .
