Every year, towards the end, the "color of the year" is announced. It's a trend started by the Pantone Institute in 2000, when it launched this concept that came to strongly influence the world of design and brand marketing.
In 2015, when the color of the year was "marsala", a new name for a dark, telluric red entered everyone's vocabulary. In 2019 the world wore "coral" and in 2021 we were surprised with two colors: a bright gray and an optimistic shade of yellow.
