For about 2 months, the Aqua City team has been working on two blocks at the same time. The first 2 blocks out of a total of 6 of the residential neighborhood that rises north of Lake Morii, a stone's throw from the Island of Angels.
Every month we publish a status of the site: what has been completed, what is being worked on, what is about to begin. The first block will be completed in a few months, in August 2021. The second block has a deadline of completion in 2022.
At this point, in Block 1, we have completed:
- the masonry part;
- compartmentalization of all apartments;
- installation works of interior installations (thermal and electrical);
- pouring screed for the protection of installations (thermal and electrical);
- execution of fresh air intakes in apartments (on all stairs);
- (on the electrical installation side) the cable beds for the apartment columns;
- (on the side of electrical installations) the electrical supplies of the elevators;
- the gas installations are 100% completed, both in the apartments and in the common spaces;
- plastering the walls - the filling and finishing plasters are finished in all the apartments;
- washable primer is completed on floors 1 - 9 (stairs 1), floors 1 - 8 (stairs 2) and floors 1 - 9 (stairs 3);
- installation of carpentry for windows and doors;
- mounting glass for windows;
- mounting the glass wall between the kitchen and the living room;
- installation of tiles on the hallways, on floors 1 - 4;
- the installation of the tiles in the apartments was completed on floors 1 - 9 (staircase 1) and on floors 1 - 8 (staircase 2 and staircase 3);
- the installation of the tiles in the kitchens was done on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors (on all three stairs);
- waterproofing in bathrooms for floors 1 - 4;
- installation of frames on exterior doors in proportion of 75%;
- on the terrace of stairs 1 and stairs 2 the installation of the waterproofing was completed;
News related to the facade of Block 1:
- On the north façade (towards the park) and on the east façade (towards Godeni), the thermal system at the level of the putty table was completed; the application of the decorative plaster follows. At this stage, we can say that the two facades are 80% ready.
- On the south façade (towards the inner courtyard) and on the west façade (towards the inner courtyard), the heating system is at the level of polystyrene cladding. Here, the two facades are ready in 50% stage
At the end, all 6 facades will have, mounted between floors, both expanded polystyrene and basalt wool with increased fire resistance. The thermal insulation of the facades will be done by mounting and folding. The ultimate goal is to ensure excellent thermal and sound insulation, to provide safety and protection. Block 1, like the other blocks in the complex, will all have a class A energy certificate.
Regarding the covered parking lot, the plots P1 - P6 have been completely executed, and the excavations for plots P7 and P8 will start.
At Block 1, we continue the works with:
- washable primer on floors 10 - 11 (staircase 1), floors 9 - 11 (staircase 2 and staircase 3);
- installation of tiles on the hallways, on floors 5 - 11
- installation of ceramic wall and floor tiles in apartments for floors 10 and 11
- installation of tiles in kitchens on floors 4 - 11
- installation of tiles in the common spaces for floors 1 - 2
- waterproofing in bathrooms, on floors 5 - 11 of the 3 stairs
- on the sanitary installation side, the water meters are installed on floors 1 - 3 (on scale 1) and the radiators are installed on floors 1 - 3 on all three stairs;
- rainwater installation
- mounting the frames on the exterior doors (the remaining 25%) and the actual mounting of the doors
- pouring the slope screed on the terrace of the staircase 3;
Regarding Block 2:
We are in the process of excavating the foundation up to the project quota of Block 2. Next comes the leveling of the building and the mounting of the casings.
