It's been 20 months since we worked on the Aqua City site and 10 months since we've kept a detailed track record of progress on the site.
If you've been with us for the last few months - or if you've read this series on the blog, "Stage of Works" - then you know that we have entered the last hundred meters with the finishing and equipment part of the C1 block, the first block in the future residential neighborhood. Aqua City.
In the last month we have worked both inside and outside, and below we present the five most important advances:
1. I installed the thermal power plants
At this moment, all 311 apartments in block 1 have installed Ariston brand condensing boilers, model ARISTON CARES HS PREMIUM 24 Kw.
The boiler has small dimensions - for easy installation but also for space saving - and is known for its quietness (it has a silencer) and energy savings of up to 35%.
2. I installed the radiators
In addition to thermal power plants, each apartment now benefits from radiators in each room. Each radiator is made of electrostatically painted steel, white in color, and is dimensioned for each room, depending on its surface and the size of the glazed space.
3. I continued with the application of the decorative
Applying the decorative plaster on block 1 is a process in full swing. The northern façade (towards the park) and the eastern façade (towards Godeni) have been 100% completed in a few weeks.
Recently, work has been done on the southern façade (towards the inner courtyard), where the completion level of 50% has been exceeded, and on the western façade (towards the inner courtyard), where the thermal system at the level of the putty mass has been completed decorative.
4. I put tiles in the apartments
We have finished installing the tiles in the interior spaces: in the kitchen, hallways, bathroom. The apartments on the 1st floor and on the 3rd floor all have, at this moment, the installed tiles. On the 2nd floor, the work team is on the 10th floor out of 11.
The balconies also have tiled floors. On the east and north facades, all balconies have mounted tiles. We are working on the last balconies on the south and west facades.
The ceramic tiles used in block 1 are of high quality from our renowned partners in Spain. This is Keros Ceramica, Canvas / Kreaton range.
5. I worked at the indoor park
Near block 1, in winter, the first 100 trees were planted and now we are working on another park, which will be placed between block 1 and block 2.
So far we have completed the work on the parapets for the planted areas (planters) and we will start working on:
- installation of waterproofing of planted areas
- preparation of irrigation systems
- filling with earth
- plant population
First Open House event
The other day - on July 10 - we had our first "open house" event, during which we opened our gates wide for visitors and took a complete tour of the Aqua City site.
Dozens of people crossed our threshold, got to know part of the team of this residential project, discovered in detail what is the stage of construction, what the materials used and finishes look like. Moreover, they had the opportunity to find out in detail what are the facilities and benefits of the residential neighborhood, as well as the lesser known history of this place.
