"The stage of the works" is a short article, published monthly, through which we communicate to the future Aqua City community the news from the construction site located on 12-16 Rocilor Street.
We are working on two blocks at the same time and we are preparing to celebrate the third Christmas on the site north of Lake Morii. You can follow the whole evolution of the works here.
When is a block considered "ready"?
We have been working on block 1 of Aqua City since 2019. The structure and partitioning part has been ready since the summer and in the last months we have been working on the interior finishing part - installation of sanitary ware, ceramic wall and floor tiles, parquet, thermal power plants, etc. - as well as the part of exterior finishes - the metallic structure of the balconies, the completion of the park between the blocks.
What is the status of the works inside the block?
- The installation of the parquet has been completed
- The glass partition wall between the kitchen and the living room was installed in 239 apartments out of the 311 existing ones.
- The protection glass of the balconies - loggias is installed
After the installation of the glass walls and the protection of the balconies, block 1 will be completed inside. However, the landscaping works around the block must also be taken into account:
- Waterproofing
- pavement
- Exterior lighting
- Systematization of the transformation station area
- Completed the entrance to the 3 stairs
- Painting the underground car park
At the end of these works we will be able to make the inauguration of block 1.
Greetings from the 8th floor
In the last month, block 2 has grown by about 3 floors. Most of the construction team is on the 8th floor, where they are working on closing the verticals and making the floor above the 8th floor.
The news related to the continuous structure, because by December 31 we will have completed the masonry part on floors 1 - 4. I chose, as in block 1, the YTONG bricks and I wrote about their benefits here .
An important step, at the turn of the year
There are gifts we receive and gifts we make. Sometimes we give each other a present. One of the most important gifts you can give yourself is a "home" you dream of and want.
Aqua City will become "home" for a community of about 5,000 people. We are building a place where you can feel good, be active, work in the coworking spaces knowing that the little one is safe and playing in the kindergarten inside the complex.
